John has over five decades of experience trekking and fishing in the Adirondacks and Central New York. John is a Charter Member of the New York State Outdoor Guides Association and serves on their Board of Directors. John has fished all over North America including Quebec, Labrador, Alaska, Montana and Wyoming. He is skilled woodsman whose knowledge of flora and fauna makes every trip an outdoor educational experience.

He now specializes in fly-fishing for wary trout throughout central and northern New York, although his fishing travels often take him to other areas of the northeast and American West. He is a Charter Member of the New York State Outdoor Guides Association, serving on the Board of Directors for many years and a past-president.

He has been a licensed New York State Guide for 10 years and is a member of the New York State Outdoor Guides Association. Bryan enjoys chasing many freshwater fish throughout New York’s capital region, the Adirondacks, Vermont and the Great Lakes tributaries. Small Stream Wild Trout, Ice Fishing Lake George and Fly Fishing for large trout are Bryan’s passions. Bryan also specializes in Euro Nymphing and has produced a highly regarded Euro Nymphing Series on the White Dog YouTube channel.
